Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the Emirates & Middle East Franchise and Trademark Alliance (TAGMOA) and the Moroccan Franchise Federation

In a strategic move to enhance economic integration and expand cooperation in the franchise sector, the Emirates & Middle East Franchise and Trademark Alliance (TAGMOA), chaired by Mr. Mohamed Al Madani, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Moroccan Franchise Federation, represented by its President, Mr. Elfane Mohamed.

This MoU aims to strengthen frameworks of collaboration and exchange of expertise among franchise institutions across the Middle East and Africa. The agreement covers several key strategic pillars, including:

• Implementation of specialized training programs designed to equip brands with the knowledge and tools necessary to compete in global markets.

• Direct cooperation with certified, high-caliber franchise developers to prepare and scale brands within the alliance for regional and international expansion.

• Organization and participation in franchise exhibitions and trade events to broaden investment opportunities and commercial connections.

• Respecting the unique market dynamics of each member country, while facilitating the entry of advanced technologies and attractive sectors tailored to each region’s demand. Key sectors include:

  • Beauty and personal care

  • Medical and healthcare services

  • Education and training

  • Automotive industries and smart mobility

  • Infrastructure development

  • Food and beverage industries

This agreement aligns with TAGMOA’s vision to empower entrepreneurs and support regional brands in becoming globally competitive, through a professional ecosystem rooted in cooperation, innovation, and intellectual property protection.
