TAGMOA and VFLN Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement During Franchise India 2025
New Delhi, India – 17 May 2025
On the sidelines of the Franchise India 2025 Exhibition, a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed between the Association of Franchise and Trademarks Services (TAGMOA) – UAE & ME, represented by His Excellency Mohammed Al Madani, and the Vietnam Franchising & Licensing Network (VFLN), represented by Madam Nguyen Phi Van, Chairwoman.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of international franchise leaders, further reinforcing the UAE’s growing influence in global franchise diplomacy and economic cooperation.
This landmark agreement aims to:

Promote franchise opportunities tailored for MSMEs across Vietnam, the UAE, and the Middle East;

Develop and exchange training programs to enhance the capabilities of franchisees and small business owners;

Facilitate joint events, workshops, and networking platforms;

Support knowledge transfer and exchange of best practices;

Strengthen cross-border cooperation in franchise development and sectoral innovation.
His Excellency Mohammed Al Madani, Chairman of TAGMOA, emphasized that this agreement is a significant step toward enabling sustainable growth for franchise ecosystems between Southeast Asia and the Gulf. He noted that Vietnamese brands have strong potential for success in Gulf markets, and that this cooperation opens new doors for investment, capacity building, and cross-cultural collaboration.
“We are honored to work with the Vietnam Franchising & Licensing Network to develop bridges of opportunity between our regions. This MoU reflects our joint commitment to empowering MSMEs, creating jobs, and supporting franchise innovation at a global level,” said H.E. Al Madani.
The agreement will remain in effect for five years and serves as a foundation for a dynamic exchange of knowledge, training, and franchise expansion initiatives between the two associations.
