Exploring Strategic Cooperation in Franchising, AI, and Advanced Technology

On the sidelines of the Franchise India 2025 Exhibition, a pivotal meeting took place between His Excellency Mohammed Al Madani, President of the Association of Franchise and Trademarks Services (TAGMOA) – UAE & Middle East, and a high-level delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, representing the Oman Franchise Council and no fewer than ten distinguished Omani brands.
The meeting highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman and served as a strategic platform to explore bilateral cooperation opportunities in the franchise sector. Both sides expressed a shared commitment to advancing regional collaboration and enhancing the growth and reach of franchising across borders.
Discussions focused on building a robust framework for collaboration between TAGMOA and the Oman Franchise Council to uplift the franchising landscape in the region. The proposed cooperation aims to drive expansion into new markets, facilitate knowledge sharing, and introduce leading global practices in artificial intelligence (AI), advanced technology, and operational excellence into franchise models across the Middle East.
“The presence of over 10 exceptional Omani brands at this event is a testament to Oman’s dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and its readiness to embrace innovation and cross-border growth,” said H.E. Mohammed Al Madani. “Through this dialogue, we are laying the foundation for a stronger, smarter, and more connected franchise ecosystem in the region.”
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue structured engagement in the coming weeks, with the goal of developing a joint action plan that promotes sustainable franchising, market diversification, and economic development.
