Salma Matar Almansoori is a leading figure in the UAE franchise industry, with a career dedicated to the growth and development of franchise businesses in the region. As the first to propose the initiative for establishing a franchise association in the UAE, Almansoori collaborated with Dr. Abdelrahim to create a detailed, comprehensive plan, including structure, regulations, and a code of ethics. This plan laid the foundation for the UAE Franchise Association, which was officially accepted by the Abu Dhabi Chamber in 2014.

Since 2009 AlMansoori has spearheaded the UAE Franchise Task Group, driving key initiatives and awareness programs aimed at enhancing the franchise sector. In addition to managing and operating the Franchise Association in Abu Dhabi Chamber since 2014, she has played an instrumental role in representing the UAE Chair at the World Franchise Council (WFC) and the Asian Pacific Franchise Council (APFC).

A seasoned speaker and coordinator, AlMansoori has presented at international franchise conferences and seminars across countries including Italy, Spain, and Egypt. She has also led various franchise conferences and exhibitions in Abu Dhabi and beyond, fostering vital B2B connections and promoting franchising as a growth model for local and international businesses.

As the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurs Development at the Abu Dhabi Chamber since 2007, AlMansoori has provided valuable coaching, mentoring, and consultancy to franchise companies and startups. Her efforts have been key to establishing business incubators for startups, organizing franchise training programs, and guiding companies through the complexities of franchise agreements and risks. This work has helped pave the way for numerous local brands to develop into successful franchise models.
